This is a full-day in-person course designed to provide participants practical insights into the resolution of strata unit defects of residential developments. The course comprises two (2) 3-hour sessions. Part 1 covers the “Nature and Types of Common Defects”, while Part 2 provides participants the necessary facilitation skillsets towards amicable resolution of defects-related issues with management council of Management Corporations in a role-play session. A facilitation framework will be introduced to the participants in the role-play session. Successful facilitation of defects resolution will strengthen customers’ trust, confidence, and avoid escalation to expensive legal or tribunal disputes.
