REDAS Mid-Autumn Festival Lunch 2025

REDAS members, partners and friends gathered on 3 October 2025 at Hilton Singapore Orchard to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival — a cherished tradition that honours unity, gratitude and shared purpose in the built environment community.

We were honoured to have Minister Indranee Rajah, Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development, grace the occasion. In her remarks, Minister Indranee reaffirmed the Government’s commitment to strengthen procurement practices, promote quality outcomes and discourage underbidding in public projects — an important step towards a more sustainable built environment sector.

In his welcome address, REDAS President Mr Tan Swee Yiow highlighted the need to attract and nurture young talent to ensure the industry’s continued vibrancy. He encouraged members to take active steps through internships, mentorships, scholarships and industry-academia collaborations, citing initiatives such as the BE CARE Charter, the INSPIRE Internship Programme, and partnerships with universities like NUS.

“Real estate gives us limitless opportunities to imagine and build the Singapore of the future. With our collective effort, we can nurture a vibrant pipeline of talent and ensure Singapore’s built environment continues to thrive,” said Mr Tan.

It was an afternoon of warm fellowship and meaningful reflection — a celebration of enduring connections and a shared vision for a future-ready industry.

A big thank you to our members, partners and friends who joined us for this meaningful event.
