EVENT HIGHLIGHTS

144 golfers including Guest-of-Honour Associate Professor Muhammad Faishal Ibrahim, Acting Minister-in-charge of Muslim Affairs and Senior Minister of State for Home Affairs participated in this year’s REDAS 49th Annual Golf Tournament. The event was held on 22 July 2025 at the Serapong Course, Sentosa Golf Club. REDAS is proud to host this annual event to raise fund to help the less fortunate and foster strong and cohesive relationships within the REDAS fraternity.

The event was held on 22 July 2025 at the Serapong Course, Sentosa Golf Club. On 25 March 2025 REDAS welcomed industry professionals for a hands-on course exploring IFRS ISSB Standards and Scope 3 emissions. Led by Bennett Wong, ESG Practice Lead at RSM Singapore, the session unpacked disclosure requirements for the built environment, real-world Scope 3 case studies, and SBTi’s “whole-building” approach to climate target-setting. As Singapore advances its green agenda, the course equipped participants with the knowledge to make more climate-aligned development and investment decisions.

Held on 14 March 2025, the SLA-REDAS Forum buzzed with energy as over 70 industry leaders from major developers, consultancies, and government agencies, explored game-changing approaches to interim land use, discovered how geospatial tech is revolutionizing urban planning and construction sector, and discussed regenerative management strategies for sustainable development.

With over 500 attendees and a stellar lineup of speakers and panellists, the seminar provided invaluable perspectives on the 2025 outlook, transformative practices, and strategies to advance the sector.

As participants delved into innovative ideas and best practices that can be implemented in various developments, they also shared their experiences and challenges in planning for infrastructure and designing spaces to facilitate safer and more efficient delivery processes. With delivery volumes expected to stay high, planning infrastructure and designing spaces for last-mile deliveries are key to creating a more liveable environment.

Participants gained valuable insights into sustainable asset management, exploring strategies to reduce costs, enhance asset value, and comply with Singapore’s ESG standards. From single properties to large portfolios, the practical guidance offered is set to empower real estate professionals in navigating the complexities of sustainability in asset management.

REDAS held its 5th annual WSH Leadership Forum on 25 July 2024, with support from the WSH Council and BCA. The event saw industry leaders engaging in insightful discussions and sharing actionable strategies to enhance safety across all stages of real estate development. A standout moment was the Safety Pledge, led by our Guest of Honour, Mr. Zaqy Mohamad, Senior Minister of State for Defence and Manpower. Developers and industry stakeholders were encouraged to sign the Pledge as a show of their collective responsibility to instil commitment to WSH as a core value at organisation’s level (from top management to workers).
